Top 6 most expensive properties sold in Healdsburg, reported last week

A single-family residence that changed hands for $2.87 million topped the list of the most expensive residential real estate transactions in Healdsburg during the two-week period ending Aug. 16. The sale was one of six notable property deals recorded in the area between Aug. 3 and Aug. 16, according to local records.

The high-end market in this Sonoma County wine country town showed steady activity, with buyers paying a premium for homes that offer proximity to vineyards, downtown dining, and the Russian River. The $2.87 million sale involved a well-appointed house with modern amenities and outdoor living space, a feature that continues to drive demand in the region.

Other transactions in the top six ranged from just under $1.5 million to around $2.3 million. Most of the properties were single-family homes, though one sale included a guest cottage. Real estate agents in the area note that inventory remains tight, especially for turnkey homes in desirable neighborhoods near the plaza.

The median price for the six sales was approximately $1.9 million, reflecting the upscale nature of the Healdsburg market. While the pace of sales has slowed slightly compared to the spring, interest from out-of-state buyers remains strong, particularly from those looking for second homes or relocation properties.

Local experts say the market is stabilizing after a period of rapid price growth. Sellers are adjusting expectations, and buyers are taking more time to compare options. Still, well-priced homes in good condition continue to attract multiple offers within the first week of listing.

The $2.87 million sale stands out not just for its price but for its location, which offers both privacy and easy access to the town's amenities. As the summer season winds down, agents expect a modest uptick in activity from buyers hoping to close before the holidays.
