HomeAdvantage partners with Valley First on real estate rewards

HomeAdvantage partners with Valley First on real estate rewards

A new partnership between HomeAdvantage and Valley First Credit Union is putting cash back into the pockets of home buyers and sellers. The two organizations have launched a real estate rewards program that offers eligible members a 20% rebate on the agent commission paid during a transaction.

Under the program, Valley First members who buy or sell a home through a participating agent will receive a direct payment equal to one-fifth of the commission. For a typical home sale, this could mean thousands of dollars returned to the member at closing. The rebate is paid from the agent's commission, not from the sale price, so it does not affect the final negotiated price of the property.

The program is designed to give credit union members an extra financial advantage in a competitive housing market. HomeAdvantage, which operates similar programs with other financial institutions, handles the agent network and rebate processing. Valley First members can access the service through the credit union's website or by contacting a designated HomeAdvantage representative.

No specific start date was announced, but the program is now active for all eligible Valley First members. Both organizations say the goal is to make homeownership more affordable while rewarding member loyalty.
