The following is a listing of all residential property transfers in Grundy County reported during the week of Aug. 31. There were 13 transactions posted during this time.
The activity spanned several communities across the county, with sales recorded in Morris, Coal City, Minooka, Channahon, and Gardner. Prices ranged from a low of $85,000 for a smaller home to $425,000 for a larger property, showing a wide spread in the local market.
In Morris, three homes changed hands. A property on Wauponsee Street sold for $185,000, while a residence on Fremont Avenue brought $242,500. A third sale on Armstrong Street closed at $310,000.
Coal City saw two transfers. One home on Division Street sold for $152,000, and another on Spring Road went for $198,500.
Minooka recorded three sales, including a property on Mondamin Street at $265,000 and a home on Ridge Road at $340,000. A third Minooka sale on Wildwood Drive closed at $289,900.
Channahon had two transfers. A home on Woodland Court sold for $425,000, the highest price of the week, while a property on Bluebird Lane brought $215,000.
Gardner recorded one sale on Depot Street for $85,000. Two additional transfers took place in unincorporated areas of the county, one on Pine Bluff Road for $175,000 and another on Lisbon Road for $230,000.
The total value of the 13 transactions came to just under $3.1 million.
