Chase Stokes Bids Farewell to the 'Outer Banks': Actor Sells South Carolina Home for $3 Million Just 5 Months After Wrapping Netflix Hit

Chase Stokes has officially closed the door on his time in the Outer Banks. The actor, best known for playing John B. on the Netflix series, sold his South Carolina home for $3 million just five months after filming wrapped on the show's final season.

Stokes originally listed the property for $3.3 million back in March, which was only three months after he finished shooting Season 5. The home is located in the coastal community of Mount Pleasant, just outside Charleston. The sale marks a clear transition for the 32-year-old actor as he moves on from the hit series that launched his career.

The house itself is a modern waterfront property with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. It sits on nearly an acre of land with direct access to a deep-water dock. The home features an open floor plan, a chef's kitchen, and a private pool. Outside, the property offers stunning views of the marsh and the Wando River.

Stokes bought the home in 2022 for $2.4 million, meaning he made a profit of about $600,000 on the sale. The timing of the sale is interesting, as it comes shortly after the final season of Outer Banks wrapped production. The show, which debuted in 2020, became a massive hit for Netflix and turned Stokes into a household name.

With the series now behind him, Stokes has been focusing on other projects. He recently starred in the romantic drama "Uglies" and has several other films in development. The sale of his South Carolina home suggests he may be looking to plant roots elsewhere, possibly in Los Angeles or another major market where the entertainment industry is centered.

For now, fans of Outer Banks can look forward to the final season, which is expected to premiere later this year. The show's conclusion will bring an end to the treasure-hunting adventures of the Pogues, but for Stokes, it seems the next chapter is already beginning.
